Tandoor lobster : Enjoy sea food in tandoor

A sea food preparation without lobster in something insufficient and incomplete. Lobsters are rich in protein and omega 3 fatty acids thus being a huge provider of protein minus calories. Tandoori lobster is yummy to taste, not oily so healthy too.. Time required to prepare Tandoori lobster is about 30 minutes.

Ingredients for Tandoori lobster

The quantity of ingredients mentioned below is for 6 servings. Salt can be increased or decreased as per individual’s taste. The ingredients are

650 gm whole lobster
25 gm ginger garlic paste
5 gm green cardamom powder
20 ml lemon juice
3 gm crushed pepper
3 gm ajwain
30 gm processed cheese
1 egg
50 ml cream
30 gm corn flour
10 gm salt, and
1 lemon

Method to prepare Tandoori lobster

The lobster should be cut vertically into two equal halves and the flesh should be removed from shell and washed thoroughly. Now marinate the flesh with ginger garlic paste, salt and lemon juice and keep for at least half an hour. Now after half hour marinate lobster again this time with cheese, corn flour, green cardamom powder, crushed pepper, ajwain, cream and egg for 1 hour.

Now skewer lobster and cook in a tandoor for about 7 minutes or microwave grill or OTG in medium for 12 to 15 minutes. On the other side blanch the lobster shell in boiling water till it becomes red. Now arrange shell on the serving plate and place prepared meat in shell.

The tandoor lobster is now ready, serve hot with sliced onion, mint chutney and lemon wedges to add the taste.
